Software Test Automation Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Software Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing test cases to meet the needs of our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your programming skills and creativity in a supportive and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean and maintainable code, Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- You carry out and automate tests yourself, Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- You will also coordinate between contact persons with different requirements
- Documenting the test results rounds off your area of responsibility
- You will support Digital Trackside and On-board Vector CANoe based Automation in Autonomous Rail
- You will support to write Technical Requirements of a Complex Central Control Framework where AI, Cloud and Data Management will play main roles
- You will work closely in our Lab in Eschborn
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent in computer science or related field
- Proven experience in software development, testing, test automation and programming languages
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- You have already worked with GIT
- Furthermore, you are goal-oriented and think outside the box
- The ability to work in a team and proactive communication round off your profile
- You have a great interest in Innovation, Technologies and Mobility
- Experience in Simulation (Rail Control and Security is a plus)
- Good Experience in Vector Tools like CANoe, CAPL, VCDL, vTestStudio etc.
- Good Knowledge on Network Protocols
- Good Experience in Programming Python and C#/C++
- General Electrical Hardware knowledge
- Knowledge on Software or hardware integration
- Familiar with Agile Software Development Philosophy
- Very good writing skill in English, German language skill is a plus
